Regulatory Framework

The Congress is organized within the implementation of:

Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-60 dated January 28, 2022, “On the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022–2026”;

and the following Resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

- No. PP-296 dated September 8, 2023, “On Measures to Protect Maternal and Child Health and Strengthen Reproductive Health”;

- No. PP-5199 dated July 28, 2021, “On Measures for the Further Development of Specialized Medical Care in the Healthcare System”;

- No. PP-5124 dated May 25, 2021, “On Additional Measures for the Comprehensive Development of the Healthcare Sector”;

- No. PP-4310 dated May 6, 2019, “On Measures for the Further Development of the System of Medical and Pharmaceutical Education and Science”;

- No. PP-4891 dated November 12, 2020, “On Additional Measures to Safeguard Public Health through Enhanced Preventive Medicine.”

Congress Objective

The Congress will bring together leading national and international experts in pediatrics and related disciplines and will serve as a professional platform for discussing current strategies to improve healthcare delivery to women and children at the primary care, specialized, and inpatient levels.

Scientific Program

The Scientific Program will address the following topics:

- Organization and optimization of healthcare services for women of reproductive age and children, including neonatal care;

- Nutrition of healthy and ill children;

- Immunoprophylaxis of infectious diseases;

- Contemporary approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric diseases, including rare (orphan) disorders, hereditary and genetic conditions across all pediatric age groups, and progressive degenerative diseases;

- Interdisciplinary collaboration between pediatricians and pediatric neurologists, intensivists, ophthalmologists, traumatologists, surgeons, infectious disease specialists, and epidemiologists;

- Current issues in pediatric epileptology;

- Advanced instrumental and laboratory diagnostic methods;

- Palliative care and medical rehabilitation in pediatrics;

- Translation of scientific research findings into clinical practice.

- Medical, social, and organizational aspects of pediatric healthcare development in the Republic of Uzbekistan: challenges and solutions

- International collaboration in child healthcare and medical education

- Discussion of newly developed clinical protocols in pediatrics
