On January 22 of the current year, the “Spirituality Day” event was held at the Faculty of Surgery of the Center for Advanced Training and Professional Development of Medical Workers.

The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor S.S. Kariyev. In his address, he provided detailed information on the ongoing reforms, achievements attained, and priority objectives set for the future at the Center.

Following this, a comprehensive presentation-based lecture on the topic “The History of Maxillofacial Surgery, Current Challenges, and Future Prospects” was delivered by the Head of the Department of Surgical Dentistry, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor A.A. Abduqodirov.

During the event, a highly engaging presentation on “Plastic and Reconstructive Microsurgery in the Republic of Uzbekistan” was given by the Chief Consultant for Plastic and Microsurgery of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Associate Professor of the Department of Surgery – 1, J.J. Rasulov. The presentation was met with great interest by the audience and sparked lively discussions and debates.

At the conclusion of the event, a creative and musical meeting was organized with the renowned artist, poet, and master singer  Asliddin Do‘stov. For course participants and clinical residents who had come to the Center from all regions of the republic to pursue their education, this event provided a distinctive spiritual atmosphere and an uplifting experience, without exaggeration.
