Akhmedova Inobat Mukhamedjanovna, born in 1964, graduated from the Central Asian Pediatric Medical Institute in 1987, specializing in "Pediatrics". In 1987-1988 she underwent internship on specialty "Pediatrics" on the basis of Research Institute of Pediatrics. From 1988 to 1990, she worked as a school doctor at Children's Polyclinic No. 7.

From 1990 to 1998, she held the position of junior researcher in the Department of Gastroenterology at the Research Institute of Pediatrics.

         In 1998 he wrote a PhD thesis on "Clinical and biochemical characteristics of chronic gastroduodenitis associated with intestinal dysbacteriosis in children".

         During 1998-1999 academic years she worked as an assistant at the Department of Pediatrics 2. 

From 1999 to 2002 she passed doctoral studies in the Research Institute of Pediatrics on pediatrics.

In 2006, she defended her doctoral dissertation on "Hormonal and metabolic disorders in small intestinal enzymopathies in children".

         From 2002 to August 25, 2017, she held the position of senior researcher in the scientific department of gastroenterology at the RSSPMCP.

         From 2013 to 2017, she worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Pediatrics and Child Nutrition.

         From 2017-2018 academic year to the present time she is the head of the Department of Pediatrics and Child Nutrition.

         Pedagogical work experience - 23 years, qualification category - the highest.

She was directly involved in outpatient and inpatient training programs within the framework of the WHO Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses program. WHO, UNICEF, USAID/Health Plus, USAID/Healthy Family, USAID/NORE projects participated in the implementation of training programs in cooperation with international organizations.

She is a member of the Scientific Council of RSSPMCP. Member of the Coordinating Council on Maternal and Child Health of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a qualified consultant on the quality of medical care of medical and preventive institutions. Since 2012 she has been the chief consultant of educational institutions of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Member of the specialized certification commission on general pediatrics, pediatric profile, pediatric cardiology and rheumatology, pediatric nephrology with hemodialysis, medical expertise of diseases of adolescence and adolescence, pediatric allergology and immunology, pediatric immunoprophylaxis.

 She is a member of the Scientific Council at TashPMI.

I.M. Akhmedova is a regular organizer, participant and speaker at many international and republican conferences.

      I.M. Akhmedova has published 18 educational programs, more than 120 scientific publications, 16 methodical recommendations, 2 patents for invention.

 

HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT

The 2nd Department of Pediatrics was established in 1981. Associate Professor Sh.S.Saidiganiev was appointed head of the department. In 1984 a course "Nutrition of sick and healthy children" was created at the department. It was headed by Associate Professor Sh.Shomukhamedov, and the department was named "2 Pediatrics with the course of children's nutrition".

In 1985 the 4th Chair of Pediatrics was established to improve the qualification of pediatricians of Tashkent city and region. The chair is headed by Prof. A.T.Sultanov. In 1992, these two departments were merged into the Department of Pediatrics and Child Nutrition. From this year to 2017, the head of the department was Prof. A.T.Sultanov, the head of the department from 2017 to present - Dr. I.M.Akhmedova.

DEPARTMENT STAFF

 

 

Nazarova Ikhtibor Dzhuraevna - Associate Professor, PhD,  responsible for academic work.

In 1978 graduated from the Central Asian Medical Pediatric Institute.  In 1985-1987 passed clinical residency in Tashkent Institute of Pediatrics. Candidate dissertation in 1999 was written on "Clinical and pathogenetic substantiation of phytoecdysone application in children with chronic hepatitis V". Since 1999 she has been working as an assistant and since 2016 as an associate professor of this department.

 

 

Salikhova Mamura Zakhidovna – assistant, responsible for work on treatment, spirituality and education.

In 1992, she graduated from the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute. She did her internship at Children's Hospital No. 5 and continued working as a resident doctor until 1996.

In 1996-2000 she worked as an assistant at the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute.

From 2000 onwards she has been working as an assistant at the same department.

 

 

Sultankhadzhaeva Shazodakhon Saidbakievna - assistant, responsible for scientific work and clinical residents, PhD.

In 1997, she graduated from the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute. In 1997-2021, she held the position of a researcher at RSSPMCP.        From 2020 to the present time she has been working at Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute.  In 2022 - defense of her PhD thesis on "Gastrointestinal form of food allergy: diagnosis and treatment".

 

 

Avezova Zilola Shavkatovna – assistant,

In 2016, she graduated from the Faculty of Pediatrics of Urgench branch of Tashkent Medical Academy.

In 2016-2019 she studied at the master's program of Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute.  Master's thesis was on "The role of micronutrient and vitamin D imbalance in the formation of bronchoobstructive syndrome in children".

Since 2019 till now she has been working as an assistant at the department.​

 

 

DEPARTMENTAL ACTIVITIES

 

 

The Republic Specialized Scientific Practical Medical Center of Pediatrics, where the department is located, has all conditions for training doctors. Practical and professional skills of cadets are practiced at the following departments: pulmonology, allergology, gastroenterology, reanimation, early childhood, hepatology, nephrology, neonatology, rehabilitation and clinical and biochemical laboratory departments.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The department offers lectures in all areas of pediatrics

 

 

 

Practical training is conducted in diagnostic rooms and departments, which are equipped with the latest technology available in the department.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Over the past 3 years, the department has trained over 50 clinical residents

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The department members are actively involved in organizing all scientific and practical conferences.

June 5-6, 2023 organized a 12-credit workshop for pediatricians on "Nutrition and Infant Health Programming".The department staff is actively involved in organizing all scientific and practical conferences.
