Iskandarova Gulnoza Tulkinovna, born in Tashkent in 1974, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor. I work at the Tashkent Institute for Advanced Training of Doctors at the Department of Epidemiology as the head of the department, I am the dean of the medical-prophylactic faculty and the chairman of the Women's Committee of TashIUV.
In 1997 she graduated from the sanitary and hygienic faculty of the Second Tashkent Medical Institute. 1997-2002 worked as a junior researcher at the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry, ANRUz. Since 2002 2007 worked as a senior, then a chief researcher at the Research Institute of Sanitation, Hygiene and Occupational Diseases. From 2007 to the present, I have been working as a professor at the Department of Epidemiology at the Tashkent Institute for Advanced Medical Studies.
She defended her Ph.D. thesis in 2000 ("Toxicological assessment and hygienic standardization of the new pesticide XC-2 in the environment"), her doctoral dissertation in 2006 ("Patterns and features of morphological and functional development, physical abilities of 18-27 years old boys and the development of health-improving measures ").
Author of 371 scientific works, including 4 monographs, 200 scientific articles in journals and scientific collections, 20 in foreign journals. The title of the monographs: "Patterns and features of morphological and functional development, physical abilities of young men of military age", "Problems of occupational hygiene and occupational diseases in the oil and gas industry", "Comprehensive assessment of the health status of school-age children, depending on the socio-hygienic and climatic-geographical conditions of Uzbekistan" , "Hygienic characteristics of conditions, training regime and health of adolescents studying in secondary schools, academic lyceums and vocational colleges"; 3 copyright certificates for invention, 12 - Sanitary norms, rules and hygienic standards of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 50-methodical recommendations and manuals, 20-educational-methodical manuals devoted to the issues of epidemiology and hygiene.
Currently, under my guidance and consultation, one Ph.D. thesis has been completed and two doctoral dissertations are being carried out.
I take an active part in holding annual Republican scientific and practical conferences on hygiene problems, being the secretary of the hygiene section for children and adolescents, as well as in preparing for the publication of materials for scientific and practical conferences, being a member of the editorial board.
I am married and have one child.
