The department was organized in 1945. The first head of the chair was Prof. D.A.Kogan from 1945 to 1955.

Such specialists as: I.P. Ilyinsky, M.Y. Alimova, D.H. Ilhamjanova, D.M. Arslanova, M.R. Salikhova, L.A. Akramkhodjaeva, F.I. Azimova, H.R. Avazmatova, O.G. Maduntseva, L.V. Frolova, A.A. Turikov, B.H. Arifzhanov, H.D. Khasanova made a significant contribution to the development of the department.

     Today the department is headed by purposeful, strong-willed and professional specialist.

 

 

Khamrabayeva Feruza Ibragimovna - doctor of medical sciences, professor, chief physiotherapist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dean of the Faculty of Therapy CRPKMR, actively participating in the scientific and social life of the Center.   

     In 1994 she defended her thesis on rehabilitation of patients with chronic pancreatitis by methods of physiotherapy, in 2005 she defended her doctoral thesis on the theme: The role of autonomic disorders and biochemical balance in the pathogenesis of peptic ulcer disease and ways to optimize treatment.

     Since 2006, under her guidance, 4 candidates of medical sciences and 1 doctoral dissertation have been prepared.  Prepared for the defense of 1 doctoral dissertation and 3 dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

     She has published 12 monographs, more than 350 scientific articles and theses, more than 30 methodical recommendations, 6 information letters, more than 100 training programs, has 1 patent for invention.

     Khamrabayeva F.I. is a member of the Association of Pancreatologists of Europe, Russian Gastroenterological Association, Association of Therapists of Uzbekistan, Scientific Society of Gastroenterologists of Russia, as well as editorial boards and editorial boards of a number of domestic and foreign scientific medical journals. Since 2018, he has been the editor-in-chief of the journals "Salomat Buling" and "Будьте здоровы". In addition, F.I.Khamrabayeva received the title "Excellent Health Care Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and was also awarded with the breast badge "30 Years of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan" (2021).

 

 

 

For many years, the clinical base of the department was the Research Institute of Physiotherapy and Balneology, and now the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Center for Therapy and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Since 2020, the department has been based in the clinic of the Center for the Development of Advanced Training of Medical Workers.

     In connection with the processes of modernization and reform of domestic healthcare in 1947, the composition of cadets changed. There was a need to train doctors in a new specialty - “Rehabilitation Medicine”, which included not only physiotherapy, but also physical therapy, sports medicine and medical supervision.

Since December 2006, on the initiative of F.I. Khamrabaeva, the department was renamed “Gastroenterology and Physiotherapy.” During the same period, a room for endoscopic examinations was created.   For 2007-2009 Hundreds of training programs were created in gastroenterology, hepatology, pancreatology, dietetics, physiotherapy, balneology, physical therapy, laser therapy and sports medicine for advanced training, retraining of doctors and training of clinical residents.

     At the present stage, the department is staffed by a team of teachers, where highly qualified employees work effectively, actively supporting all innovations and implementations:

 

 

Yuldasheva Gulchehra Rustamovna

Associate Professor of the Department, Doctor of Medical Sciences

 

In 2011, she completed her postgraduate studies at the Department of Gastroenterology and Physiotherapy under the guidance of F.I. Khamrabaeva. defended her master's thesis "Clinical evaluation of antibacterial and enzyme replacement therapy for chronic pancreatitis in the conditions of Uzbekistan", in 2018 she defended her doctoral thesis on the topic: The role of chronic pancreatitis in the development of insulin resistance and ways to correct metabolic disorders.

She has been working at the department since 2018. Head of educational and methodological work of the department. He studies diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, methods of their modern diagnosis, treatment and prevention. He is an invited Member of the Academic Council of the Central Republican Medical Research Center, a Member of the Academic Council of the therapeutic faculty of the Central Republican Medical Research Center, a Member of the Scientific Seminar and the Scientific Council on the specialty of sports medicine - 14.00.38 and medical rehabilitation - 14.00.12 at the Republican Scientific and Practical Medical Center, as well as a Member of the commission for entrance exams and qualifying exams for doctoral students and applicants at RSPCSM. Since 2023, he has been a Member of the TI expert commission at NADA, as well as a Member of the expert commission of the NOGR, Moscow. In addition, he is a Member of the Association of Sports Doctors of Uzbekistan.

      Constantly participates in Scientific Seminars and Councils as a reviewer and official opponent.

      She has published 4 monographs, more than 100 scientific articles and theses, more than 15 methodological recommendations and manuals, 2 information letters and over 100 educational programs.

 

 

Yuldasheva Lola Irkinovna

From 2008 to the present, he has been working as an dosent at the Department of Gastroenterology and Physiotherapy of the CDATMW. During his work, more than 50 training and work programs were developed in various areas of the department: Physiotherapy, balneology, laser therapy, sports medicine, exercise therapy and medical control, gastroenterology, hepatology, dietolog,for advanced training, retraining of doctors and training of clinical ordinotors. She has repeatedly improved her professional level by undergoing internships and advanced training courses in physiotherapy and other related areas not only within the republic, but also abroad.

She constantly participates in international and national conferences, symposiums, and congresses, where she repeatedly participated as a speaker and moderator.  Actively provides consulting and therapeutic assistance during the examination of patients in the departments of the multidisciplinary clinic of the CDATMW.

For several years she worked as a scientific secretary of the Special Council on Therapy at the therapeutic faculty of CDATMW. She is an invited member of the Scientific Council of the CDATMW, a member of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Therapeutics, a member of the Specialized Council and Scientific Seminar on Sports Medicine. She has repeatedly been a reviewer in the preparation of dissertants for the defense of PhD theses, as well as various textbooks and methodological recommendations, She works as the secretary of the Attestation Commission for narrow specialties of therapeutic profile at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

 He also actively participates in the public educational, cultural and mass work of the center.

 

 

Kadirova Saodat Rahimjanovna

Candidate of Medical, assistant of the department.

 

Born in 1973 in the city of Tashkent. She began her career with graduate  school in 2001 at the Department State Medical University. In 2005 she successfully defended her PhD thesis on the topic: «On the mechanizm of gastroduodenal side effects of selective inhibitors of cyclooxygenase isoforms.

From 2007 to the present day, he has been working as an assistant at the Department of Gastroenterology and Physiotherapy of the Center for the Development of Professional Qualifications of medical Workers at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Actively participipatesin the scientific and public life  of the Center for Research and Development, Prepared by to defendant a doctoral dissertationon the topic. Optimization of methods on non –drug treatment and prevention of intestinal dysbiosis inpatients with duodenal ulcer  according  to the classification 14.00.43- Medical prevention. Published more than 100 scientific articles,more than10 methodological recomendatins. At the department she is responsible for spirituality and wisdom.

 

 

Atabaeva Saodat Muzaffarovna

Assistant of the department 

 

Works at the department since 2008. Responsible for the scientific work of the department.  Secretary and member of the academic council of the therapeutic faculty.

Applicant for the degree of doctor of philosophy (PhD) on the topic "clinical and morpho-functional features of gastropathies in patients with helicobacteriosis".

Saodat Muzaffarovna is completing her phd thesis and is preparing for defense. She is engaged in the study of features of gastropathies with helicobacteriosis in patients of different age groups.

     Research work is devoted to the study of gastropathies with helicobacteriosis their diagnosis and treatment, including in elderly patients. She is the author of more than 40 scientific papers published in foreign and national journals. She has made presentations at various conferences.

 

 

Kayumov Aziz Ilhamovich

Assistant of the department 

 

Born on November 3, 1985, in 2011 he graduated from the Samarkand State Medical Institute with a degree in pediatrics and in 2014 he completed a master’s degree in pediatric cardiology and rheumatology. In 2017, at the Tashkent Institute for Advanced Medical Training, he specialized in sports medicine. In 2021, he received the state award “Shukhrat”. Currently working on a PhD thesis on the topic “Comparative analysis of the physical performance of football players and runners taking into account the polymorphism of endurance genes” and is the author of 3 articles  and 4 theses in this area.

Currently, the Department of Gastroenterology and Physiotherapy is the initiator and organizer of the Forum of Gastroenterologists of the Republic and the National Conference of Rehabilitologists of the country. In the anniversary year, the VII gastroforum and the III conference of rehabilitation specialists were held under the chairmanship of F.I. Khamrabaeva.

      The department’s staff actively conducts international activities: every ten days of the academic year, webinars are held with foreign experts (Russian Federation, Belarus, Ukraine, USA, India, Czech Republic, etc.), the head of the department was the coordinator from Uzbekistan in the following international scientific research:

International randomized clinical trial to study PPIs in acid-related diseases (India, Uzbekistan, 2018), International non-interventional observational program (multicenter observational study) to study the atherogenic properties of UDCA (Czech Republic, Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, 2019).

 

The staff of the department annually improve their qualifications in the UIS countries (Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Georgia) and abroad (Czech Republic, Spain, Austria, Poland, Israel, etc.).

Today, the department has created all conditions for an effective learning process, high-speed Internet is working smoothly, a Moodle learning system has been introduced, which allows you to create and store electronic learning materials and set the sequence of their study.

Due to the fact that access to Moodle is via the Internet or other networks, doctors are not tied to a specific place and time, they can move through the material at their own pace from any region. Modern computer classes, spacious classrooms and lecture halls equipped with multimedia equipment are at the disposal of employees and students. Rooms for self-study of cadets equipped with office equipment, for practical training with the latest physiotherapy equipment, a gym with exercise equipment and sports equipment, a library are far from an incomplete list of what is provided to the services of cadets and teachers. In addition, the equipment of the classrooms allows for long-distance communication during conference calls with colleagues during online conferences and consultations.

The content of the lectures is concretized in accordance with the elements of theoretical, practical study and application of the objects forming the subject of the disciplines, with an unlimited amount of handouts.

To carry out practical exercises, there are a large number of methodological and clinical recommendations, manuals and guidelines for all the main educational areas of the department.

 For better assimilation of the material studied, professorial rounds with clinical analysis of patients are systematically conducted in the departments of the clinic of the Center.

The main scientific directions of the department are

1. Optimization of treatment of patients with peptic ulcer disease associated with Helicobacterpylori with vegetative dystonia syndrome.

2. Optimization of NSAID treatment of gastropathies in patients with diseases of the musculoskeletal system.

3. Prevention of colonic dysbiosis, as a result of eradication therapy for duodenal ulcer by physiotherapy methods.

4. Clinical, morphological and functional features of helicobacteriosis in patients with gastropathies

5. Comparative analysis of the physical performance of football players and runners, taking into account the polymorphism of endurance genes.

6. Optimization of methods of non-drug treatment of intestinal dysbiosis in patients with duodenal ulcer
