Shomansurov Shoanvar Shomuratovich was born on October 7, 1957 in Tashkent in a family of servants.
From 1975 to 1981 he studied at the Pediatric College of the Central Asian Medical Pediatric Institute, graduated in 1981 with a degree in pediatrics and worked as an assistant at the Faculty of Pharmacology of the Central Asian Medical Pediatric University. He worked at the same department for 3 years and continued to work as an assistant at the Department of Clinical Pharmacology.
From 1985 to 1988 he completed postgraduate studies at the Pediatric Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and in 1988 defended his dissertation on "Effective use of euphyllin in chronic lung disease in children."
From 1989 to 1990 he worked as a neurologist at the Tashkent City Counseling and Diagnostic Center, and from 1990 to 1991 he continued to work as an assistant at the Department of Neurology, TashPMI.
From 1991 to 1994 he studied for a doctorate at the Pediatric Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. and has been actively working as the head of the department since December of this year.
From 1998 to 2003 he worked as the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of TVMOI.
He is married and has 3 children.

Shamansurov also takes an active part in public affairs. From 1996 to 1999, he was Secretary of the Academic Council, which specializes in neurology and psychiatry. He is a member of the Board of the Republican Association of Neurologists, a specialized institute and the Academic Council of the Faculty of Pediatrics.
Sh.Sh. Shamansurov is a highly qualified specialist, an experienced clinician. He uses modern investigative techniques in child psychoneurology. He is the organizer of scientific research. Rational use and improvement of anti-satanic therapies in epilepsy and seizures in children, as well as early detection and rehabilitation of perinatal pathology in children are the focus of his research. He is the author of 250 scientific works, 7 monographs and 4 certificates of authorship, published not only in the Republic, but also in countries near and far abroad, on various issues of treatment, rehabilitation and diagnosis of sick children. Published monographs: "Neurology of early childhood" This monograph covers a wide range of measures for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of neurological diseases in young children today. The monograph published by Buch is intended not only for neurologists, but also for general practitioners, neonatologists and pediatricians.
The monograph "Preimushestva i nedostatki protivoepilepticheskix sredstv" deals with the most important problems in epileptology, in which the rules of treatment are presented in a convenient scientifically based form.

The monograph "Periventricular leukomalacia in children" describes in detail the pathological processes of the mother during pregnancy, as a result of exposure to the fetus, complications in childbirth and the clinical course of diagnosis, diagnosis and treatment of periventricular leukomalacia. To date, he has trained two doctors of medical sciences and supervised the research of 10 candidates of medical sciences. Currently, 2 candidates of medical sciences are supervising their research work. Sh.Sh. Shamansurov is also the Chief Pediatric Neuropathologist of the Ministry of Health.
Perinatology, epileptology, vascular diseases are among the current scientific directions of the department. In recent years, a lot of attention is paid to genetic diseases.
Sh.Sh. Shamansurov has repeatedly presented the results of scientific research at the national and international symposiums and conferences.
Collaboration with Sh. Shamansurov at the institute allows us to emphasize that it represents a new modern generation of leaders, scientists, teachers, highly qualified specialists.
