In 1978, on the initiative of professor Ubaydullaev, he was the first to establish the Department of Pulmonology at the Tashkent Institute for professional development of doctors in the former Union. In 2001, the department was renamed the Department of "pulmonology and clinical allergology", from September 7, 2023 It was renamed to the Department of "Pulmonology and phthisiatrics, with a course in clinical allergology".

Academician Abdulla Mukharramovich Ubaydullaev

 

         Ubaydullaev Abdulla Mukharramovich was born on March 20, 1934 in the city of Tashkent in a family of servants.  In 1952, he graduated with honors from the school 24 of the order of the “Red banner” of Tashkent and entered the Tashkent State Medical Institute. He graduated from the institute with honors in 1958.

         In 1958 -1960, after completing clinical residency at the Department of therapy of the Tashkent Institute of advanced training of doctors (ToshVMOI), and in 1961 -1963-postgraduate studies, from 1964 he worked as assistant at the same department, in 1967-1970 as associate professor. In 1965 he defended his candidate dissertation on the topic" the main causes of the development of decompensation in various pathological conditions of the heart".

         Academician A. in Moscow in 1971-1974.L.He became a doctoral student at the Myasnikov Institute of Cardiology, continued scientific research, and in 1974 successfully favored a doctoral dissertation on the topic "clinical biochemical study of atrosclerosis in different forms of arterial hypertension".

         Abdullah Ubaydullaev served as dean of the Faculty of therapy in the Institute from 1975 -1986, and then as pro-rector for treatment Affairs. In 1978 he was one of the first in the former Union under the same institute to establish the Department of clinical pulmonology and was himself appointed head of the same department. In 1979, the scientist was awarded the scientific title of Professor, and in 2000 he was elected academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan.

         Professor A.M.Ubaydullaev headed the Research Institute of phthisiatrics and pulmonology of the Ministry of health of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 1986 -2010.  The scientist expanded the scope of scientific and practical work at the Institute. Under the leadership of this scientist, a pulmonology service was established in Uzbekistan, which is the only one in Central Asia. Talented young phthisiators and pulmonologists were trained in the Republic. Established a 60-seat pulmonology department in the clinic of the Institute, and the German R. The former Union prepared at the firm of Eger was the first to show diligence in equipping with modern functional diagnostic apparatus (Spirograph, euskrin, masterlab, pneumoscope, pneumoscreening, bronchoscope) and physiotherapeutic apparatus.

         Academician A.M.Ubaydullaev is a leading scientist in the field of pulmonology and phthisiatrics in Uzbekistan. Together with his students, the scientist comprehensively studied the spread (Epidemiology) of tuberculosis and non-specific diseases of the lungs in Uzbekistan, clinical forms and disease complications, especially in agriculture, among growers, tobacco workers, vegetable growers, the spread of these diseases and the effect of toxic chemicals widely used in agriculture on the respiratory organs. Thanks to the enthusiasm of Abdullah Mukharramovich in the development of the field, the direction of ecological and geriatric pulmonology was established in Uzbekistan and the establishment of new dispensary groups among contingents in Uzbekistan (Republic) in the conduct of tuberculosis carried out work on the comprehensive study of "family tuberculosis" , the development of new methods of treatment for lung diseases.

         Professor A.M.Ubaydullaev is the author of more than 700 scientific works, including 20 monographs and manuals, 10 inventions and 40 methodological documents, 20 of the 120 certificates of various types that he received in total were issued by foreign state organizations. The scientist's manual "Functional diagnostics of respiratory organs" (2000), "Bronchial asthma" (2002), and "diseases of the respiratory organs" (2004 and 2009), "tuberculosis" (2009) is considered an instrumental for doctors of Uzbekistan.

         Professor A.M.Ubaydullaev created the school of Pulmonology science and service in Uzbekistan. Prepared 25 doctors of Sciences and 39 candidates of Sciences in the specialty" pulmonology "and" phthisiatrics". Currently, his students are active not only in Uzbekistan, but also in the Central Asian republics, Russia, the Czech Republic, Canada and the USA. Many of them have become well-known pulmonologists and phthisiatrists.

         A.M.Ubaydullaev actively participated in international scientific and practical conferences and congresses held in more than 40 countries of the world, more than 70 cities, including France, England, USA, Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, Indochina, Turkey, Azerbaijan and all Central Asian republics, demonstrated the achievements of pulmonology and phthisiatrics in Uzbekistan, shared his knowledge and experience.

 

         At the initiative of A.M. Ubaydullaev, scientific and practical conferences, congresses and symposia were organized in Uzbekistan many times with the participation of leading pulmonologists from foreign countries.

         On may 5-8, 2008, he showed enthusiasm in organizing and holding the IV Congress of the Eurasian Respiratory Society and the V Congress of the Association of pulmonologists of Central Asia with the participation of many foreign scientists in Tashkent. The number of professionals visiting this convention has increased from 1,200.

         Ubaydullaev A.M. Editor-in-chief of the journal" Bulletin of the Association of Pulmonologists of Central Asia", member of the editorial board of the RFA" tuberculosis and lung diseases "as well as the Journal of Medicine of Uzbekistan," Be healthy".

         Professor A.M.Ubaydullaea is a member of the Russian society of pulmonologists (Moscow), the European Society of pulmonologists (Paris), the International Society for the fight against tuberculosis and bronchopulmonary diseases (Paris), chairman of the Uzbek society of phthisiatrists and pulmonologists.

         Our state awarded Abdulla Mukharramovich Ubaydullaev’s medical, mentoring, scientific and pedagogical and public activities. In 1997 he was awarded" medical officer of service in the Republic of Uzbekistan", and in 2004 he was awarded" Doctor of the year". In 2007, academician Abdulla Ubaydullaev was awarded the order of Merit. Also in 2005, he was awarded the title of "honorary Doctor" of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

         Professor A.M. Ubaydullaev currently serves as a professor of the Department of Pulmonology at the Center for the development of professional skills of medical personnel, teaching pulmonology to doctors of our country using modern technologies and teaching them their skills and skills.

In a word, today the name of professor Abdullah Mukharramovich is mentioned with special reverence not only in Uzbekistan, but also among the people of World medicine. The life and work of a well-known scientist working tirelessly on the path of prosperity of our society, especially in the rise of Uzbek medicine, is an example of a lesson for every medical worker and the growing younger generation.

Academician A.M. Ubaydullaev in 2022, the director of the Center, professor X.A. Akilov as the leadership, professor K.S. Zairov room named "phthisiatrics and pulmonology school in Uzbekistan" was established at the Medical Museum. Doctors who visit this room,  all medical staffs  receive the necessary information related to phthisiatrics and pulmonology.

         In 2023, the department was renamed the Department of clinical Allergology of pulmonology and phthisiatrics. Docent, doctor of Medical Sciences Ubaydullaeva N.N. is in charge. Ubaydullaeva Naima Nabikhanovna graduated from the Faculty of treatment of the Tashkent State Medical Institute in 1989. From 1990 to 1991, she worked at the 1st  Clinical Hospital named after Ibn Sina, the Medical Association of the Shaykhontokhur district, the head of the Health care of Uzbekistan i internship, 1991-1997. Since October 1997, she studied at the Department of Pulmonology of the Tashkent Institute of advanced training of doctors, then worked until the present day in the positions of Senior Laboratory Assistant, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and head of the Department of the same department. Ubaydullaeva Naima Nabikhanovna defended her Ph. D. thesis in 2001 on" Smoking as a predictor of bronchial hyperreactivity and bronchial obstruction" and her Ph. D. thesis in 2018 on" predictors and markers of chronic obstructive development and development". Since 2016, the head of the Department of Pulmonology with a course in clinical Allergology. Ubaydullaeva Naima Nabikhanovna spent many years in charge of the educational work of the Department, demonstrating to the pulmonologist and allergologist doctors of our republic was a qualified coach and a mature specialist of the same specialization in improving their knowledge. In the academic cycles conducted at the department, together with high-content lectures, Study of the Department actively participates in methodological scientific and therapeutic work. Having applied the results obtained in his scientific work to the practical activities of pulmonologists of our republic, he is helping patients with diagnostic burns and treatments at the higher level. His pedagogical activity is not limited to the cursants of the department, and Kham takes an active part in the international trainings, which are held for doctors of general practice in the Health sacking system of the Republican regions. He improved his own qualification in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Ufa,  in Ham at congresses (UAE (Dubai), Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden). At the same time, Kham is the organizer and participant of the scientific conferences of the international and the Republic, which were held in the Republic.

In 1997 she graduated the Tashkent State Medical Institute. From 1998 to 1999 he worked as a rheumatologist in the Counseling Department of family polyclinic No. 42; from 1999 to 2001 as a cardiologist at family polyclinic No. 35. In 2001-2003 he studied at the clinical residency at the Department of Pulmonology of the Tashkent Institute of professional development of doctors, in 2004-2006 at the same department. Academician A. M. Under Ubaydullaev's leadership, he began research in the field of early diagnosis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Since 2006, ToshVMOI has been working in the Department of Pulmonology, initially as a trainee teacher, and since 2008 as an assistant. Every year he gives lectures in the work of national and international forums. She has advanced his qualification in pulmonology Sox abroad several times: in Dubai (2007), studying aspects of functional diagnostics; in Moscow (2011, 2014), he participated in the work of the XXI and XXII national congresses on respiratory diseases. In 2000, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Tashkent Medical Institute. The student worked as a medical doctor in the pulmonology department of the Tashkent City Clinical Hospital No. 1. In 2000-2001 he worked as a general practitioner at family polyclinic No. 35. In 2001-2003 he studied postgraduate studies at the Department of pulmonology and clinical Allergology of the Tashkent Institute of physician qualification, in 2003-2008 he worked as a laboratory assistant, in 2008-2010 as an intern teacher, since 2010 as an assistant at the Department of Pulmonology of ToshVMOI.In 2023, he defended his doctor of Medical Sciences (PhD) thesis on the topic" the impact of risk factors on the state of the respiratory system of young people and the optimization of preventive methods". More than 52 scientific works on pulmonology have been published.
