Based on the tasks defined by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On State Civil Service" dated August 8, 2022, No. ЎРҚ-788, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 19, 2025, No. ПФ-88 "On Measures to Consistently Continue Reforms in the Healthcare Sector through Improvement of the Republic's Healthcare System and Principles of Providing Medical Services to the Population," and Presidential Resolution No. ПП-185 "On Additional Measures for Implementing Reforms in the Healthcare System," in order to implement the plan of the joint project between the Ministry of Health and the GIZ organization (German Society for International Cooperation), the Center for Development of Professional Qualifications of Medical Workers, at the Department of "Public Health and Healthcare Management," with the participation of international experts, introduced a 72-credit thematic advanced training course on "Directions/Fundamentals of Managing Large Multidisciplinary Medical Institutions" and a 180-credit general advanced training course on "Healthcare Management and Public Health. Transformation of System Financing." From October 20 to November 1, 2025, the pilot stage of the 72-credit cycle was conducted for managerial staff of medical institutions in the Samarkand Region. The cycle trained 35 participants. The educational process was conducted by experts from the Representation of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) together with staff from the Department of Public Health and Healthcare Management of the CDPQMW. Training was delivered in a hybrid format (in-person off-site). At the end of the cycle, each participant was awarded the corresponding certificate.
