On November 9, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, signed a decree in honor of Medical Workers’ Day, aimed at recognizing and rewarding healthcare professionals for their dedication and contributions. According to the decree, specialists who have made significant contributions to the professional development of medical personnel and the improvement of the healthcare system’s quality and efficiency were honored.

In particular, Professor Shuhrat Irgashev, Head of the Department of “Preventive Medicine – Fundamentals of Valeology” at the Faculty of “Management, Social and Primary Healthcare” of the Center for Professional Development of Medical Personnel, was awarded the Order of Labor Glory. This award recognizes his high level of professional qualification, teaching and scientific achievements, as well as his significant contribution to the training and professional development of healthcare specialists.

In addition, the Dean of the Faculty of Therapy, Head of the Department of Gastroenterology, Professor Feruza Khamrabayeva, received high recognition. According to the decree of the Uzbekistan Medical Tourism Association No. U/6 dated November 7, 2025, she was awarded the Breastplate for her contribution to the development of medical tourism in Uzbekistan. This award highlights her achievements in healthcare and her significant contribution to the advancement of medical tourism in the country.

These awards and recognitions are not only a personal achievement for the recipients but also a source of great pride for our Center. They serve as an inspiration and reinforce our commitment to improving the quality of healthcare services and providing the population with the highest level of care.
