Department of Obstetrics-Gynecology and Perinatal Medicine
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of TIPME was established in 1937 in the maternity complex No. 3 of the city of Tashkent. The head of the department was Associate professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences Ruben Nikitovich Kazarasyan. From 1952 to 1970, Natalia Trofimovna Raevskaya, MD, headed the department. From 1970 to 1980, the department was headed by Associate Professor, Ph.D. Fazilov Vasil Fazilovich. From 1980 to 1983, the department was headed by associate Professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences Makhmudova Mukaddas Makhmudovna. From 1983 to 1987, the head of the department was associate professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences Khodjibayeva Rosa Boltayevna.
From 1986 to 2023, the department was headed by Professor Asatova Munira Miryusupovna. Under the leadership of M.M. Asatova at the Department of scientific research in priority areas. The current research directions of the department are devoted to the treatment of miscarriage and ovarian insufficiency syndrome. 24 candidate's and 5 doctoral dissertations have been prepared and defended at the department. Currently, 6 doctoral dissertations are being prepared.
Employees of the department actively participate in the programs "Protection of motherhood and childhood" in the Republic. The staff of the department also contribute to improving the level of knowledge of doctors of the republic.
Since 2002, Professor M.M. Asatova, on the initiative and decision of the Academic Council of TIPME, the name of the department was changed to "Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatal Medicine".
Gafurova Feruza Akhrorovna

Head of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatal Medicine

Gafurova Feruza Akhrorovna was born in Tashkent, in a family of employees. Nationality - Uzbek. In 1994, she graduated with honors from the medical faculty of the First Tashkent State Medical Institute. In 1994-1997, she studied at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the First Tashkent State Medical Institute in clinical residency in the specialty "Obstetrics and Gynecology". In 1997-2202, she worked as a resident doctor in the maternity complex No. 6 in Tashkent. In 2002-2016, she worked as an assistant at the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatal Medicine of the Tashkent Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education. In 2016-2021 she worked as an associate professor of the department of AGPM TIPME. Since 2021, she has been working as an associate professor of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatal Medicine of the Center for the Development of Professional Qualifications of Medical Workers. In 2007, she successfully defended her PhD dissertation, and in 2021 - her doctoral dissertation (DcS). During her scientific activity, she has published 65 scientific papers, including 8 methodological and teaching aids, 5 clinical protocols, 1 monograph.
Based on the order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, within the framework of the Maternal and Child Health Protection Program and measures to reduce and prevent maternal mortality in the Republic of Uzbekistan, she supervised the Syrdarya region, since 2023 she has been the curator of the Bukhara region.
On September 4, 2023, she was appointed Head of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatal Medicine.
Asatova Munira Miryusupovna
Professor, МD

She was born on February 2, 1949 in Tashkent in a family of employees. In 1972, she successfully graduated from Tashkent State medical institute and began her career as a resident doctor in the maternity complex of Karshi.
Since 1975, she worked as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 2 of TIPME. In 1978-1981 she was a postgraduate student at the Moscow Institute of Advanced Training of Doctors, in 1981 she defended her PhD thesis. In 1982-1986, she worked as an assistant at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of the Tashkent Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education. Since 1988, she received the title of associate professor. In 1991, M.M. Asatova defended her doctoral dissertation, and in 1993 was awarded the title of professor. In 1994-1995, she worked as Deputy Head of the Tashkent City Health Department. In 1995-1997 she held the position of director of the city perinatal center, and in 2001-2010 – Director of the Republican Center for Reproductive Health of Adolescents and Children. From 1986 to 2002 – worked as the head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of the Tashkent Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education, and from 2002 to 2023 – the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Perinatal Medicine.
Under the leadership of M.M. Asatova, more than 150 scientific articles, 56 methodological manuals, 7 recommendations and brochures have been published. They actively participate in the development and implementation of regulatory documents, national standards and clinical applications of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Under the leadership of M.M. Asatova, 24 candidates of medical sciences and 5 doctors of medical sciences were prepared and successfully defended. Currently, 6 doctoral dissertations are being prepared.
Yeshimbetova Gulsara Zakirovna
Professor, MD.

Gulsara Zakirovna Yeshimbetova was born in Tashkent in 1959 on January 17 in a family of employees. In 1981, she graduated with honors from the medical faculty of the Tashkent State Medical University and was sent for further work to the Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In 1981-1982, she completed an internship and began her career as a resident of the AiG Research Institute clinic. In 1985-1987, she studied in a clinical residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, after which she continued her career as a junior researcher in the Department of Operative and Conservative Gynecology.
In 1989 she entered full-time postgraduate studies at Tashkent Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education and after its successful completion, in 1992 she continued her work as an assistant at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of Tashkent Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education. In 1994, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences. Since 1996, she received the title of associate professor of the department. In 2004, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation.
Since January 2, 2008, she has been a professor of this department. In 2010, she was awarded the title of professor by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During her career, she has published more than 80 scientific articles. Has 3 protected students for a PhD degree
Artikhodjaeva Guzal Shamsiddinovna
Associate Professor, PhD.

Artikhodzhayeva Guzal Shamsutdinovna was born in Tashkent in a family of employees. In 1985, she graduated with honors from the medical faculty of the Tashkent State Medical Institute. In 1985-1986, she completed an internship in obstetrics and gynecology at the Chirchik maternity hospital. In 1991-1994, she worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist in the 5th maternity hospital in Tashkent. From 1994 to 1996, she worked as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of Tashkent Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education. In 1996-2005 she worked as an Assistant of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatal Medicine, from 2005 to the present continues her work as an associate professor of the department. In 2001, she defended her PhD thesis on the topic: "The state of pituitary – ovarian function in women with diffuse non–toxic goiter and miscarriage." Total work experience - 37 years, scientific and pedagogical experience - 30 years. At the department, she is responsible for educational and methodological work.
Isanbayeva Landish Mukhametzakievna

Isanbayeva Landish Mukhamedzakievna was born in Tashkent, in a family of employees.
In 1981, she graduated with honors from the medical faculty of the Tashkent State Medical Institute. In 1981-1982, she studied at the Tashkent State Medical Institute in a clinical residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
In 1990-1993 – Postgraduate student of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 3 of the Tashkent State Medical Institute.
In 1993-2002 – Assistant of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of Tashkent Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education.
From 2002 to the present, she continues her activity as an associate professor at the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatal Medicine. In 2022, she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic "Clinical and immunogenetic mechanisms of uterine fibroids and the basics of its differential treatment".
The total work experience is 42 years, of which 30 years is teaching experience.
More than 70 scientific articles and 5 monographs have been published.
At the department, she is the curator of cadets in cycles of specialization.
Jalalov Uktam Jalilovich
Associate Professor, PhD.

Jalalov Uktam Jalilovich was born in 1960 in Samarkand, in a family of employees.
In 1983, he graduated with honors from the Tashkent State Medical Institute.
1983-1985. enrolled as a trainee researcher at the Department of Surgery of the Tashkent State Medical Institute.
In 1990, he was re-specialized in the specialty of obstetrician-gynecologist.
In 1990 he defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Structural and functional features of the thymus in experimental salmonellosis".
From 1990 to 1995 he worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist in the obstetric department of the Research Institute of Pediatrics of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In 1995, he worked as the head of the department at the 5th maternity hospital in Tashkent.
From 1995 to 1997, he held the position of head of the Maternity department of the Ministry of Health. In 1997-2000 he worked as Deputy Director for the perinatal service of the Tashkent Perinatal Centre.
Since 2001, he has been working as an associate professor at the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatal Medicine of Tashkent Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education.
The total work experience is 43 years, of which about 40 years of teaching experience.
More than 70 scientific publications have been published during his career.
Inoyatova Nodira Miranvarovna
Associate Professor, PhD.

Inoyatova Nodira Miranvarovna, in 1991 graduated from the Tashkent State Medical Institute with a degree in general medicine.
1993-1995 – completed clinical residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology № 1 at the Tashkent Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education.
Since 1997, assistant at the Department of Obstetrics-Gynecology and Perinatal Medicine of Tashkent Institute of Internal Medicine. Since 2021, Associate Professor of the Department of Obstetrics-Gynecology and Perinatal Medicine of the Center for the Development of Professional Qualification of Medical Workers.
In 2001 defended PhD thesis on the topic: “Clinical and immunological features of miscarriage in women with diffuse non-toxic goiter.”
Total work experience is 32 years, of which 26 years are teaching experience. She has 49 publications.
At the department is the supervisor of clinical residents and responsible for economic activities.
Shaikramova Nilufar Khikmatjanovna

Shaikramova Nilufar Hikmadzhanovna graduated from TashPMI in 1996 and completed an internship at the Perinatal Center of Tashkent in Obstetrics and Gynecology from 1996 to 1997. From 1998 to 2000, she studied in clinical residency at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of Tashkent Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education. From 2000 to 2002, she worked as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of Tashkent Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education. In 2002-2005 she worked as a trainee assistant at the Department of Obstetrics-Gynecology and Perinatal Medicine, since 2005 she has been working as an assistant at the department. In 2012, she defended her PhD thesis on the topic "Peculiarities of reproductive health of women with hyperprolactinemia syndrome". Total work experience - 26 years, scientific and pedagogical experience as an assistant - 21 years. At the department, responsible for the work "Маърифат ва Маънавият", is the curator of clinical residents.
Karimova Zukhra Abdullaevna

Karimova Zukhra Abdullayevna graduated from the M.S. Tursunkhodzhayeva Medical College in 1992. From 1992 to 2000 she worked at the Tashkent City Nephrological Center. From 2000 to 2021, she worked as a laboratory assistant at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of Tashkent Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education. In 2021-2023, she worked as a laboratory assistant at the Department of Obstetrics-Gynecology and Perinatal Medicine of the Center for the Development of Professional Qualifications of Medical Workers. Since 2023, he continues his career at the Department of Obstetrics-Gynecology and Perinatal Medicine of the Center for the Development of Professional Qualification of Medical Workers as the head of the room.
