Department of "CARDIOLOGY AND HERONTOLOGY WITH A COURSE IN INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY AND ARITHMOLOGY"

About the department:

The department was organized in 1967 by Professor Mnushkin Aron Solomonovich. The history of the Department of Cardiology is inextricably linked with the history of the founding in 1932. and reorganization of the Tashkent Institute for Advanced Training of Physicians. The base of the department organization was the Department of Hospital Therapy of the Tashkent Medical Institute, headed by professors Slonim Moisey Ilyich (1932-1940), Mankus Heinrich Frantsevich (1940-1942), associate professor Gekhtman Lev Revimovich (1942-1947).

Since 1947, the Department of Therapy was headed by Prof. A. S. Mnushkin. S., on his initiative in 1967 the department was reorganized into the Department of Cardiology, which Professor Mnushkin A.S. continued to head until 1973.

From 1973 to 1999 the department was headed by the academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Honored Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Corresponding Member of the Russian Medical Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Karim Yuldashev Yuldashevich Yuldashevich. On his initiative, a course of functional diagnostics was organized at the department.

A famous scientist in the field of clinical medicine, one of the leading health care organizers, Honored Scientist of Uzbekistan, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Professor Karim Yuldashev Yuldashevich Yuldashev was born in 1933 in Tashkent.

The beginning of his medical and scientific-pedagogical activity is connected with the Tashkent Medical Institute, where he worked his way up to the professor of the Department of Internal Diseases, and in 1973-1999 headed the Department of Cardiology and Functional Diagnostics of Tashkent Medical Institute.

From 1976 to 1982, being the Deputy Minister of Health of the UzSSR, Yuldashev K.Y. paid much attention to the development of medical science of the republic, optimization and planning of research works, timely and full implementation of them in practical health care.

The results of Yuldashev's scientific research have had a significant impact on the establishment of therapeutic and prophylactic work in the health authorities of Uzbekistan. The scientific school created by him successfully contributes to the development of medical science.

Under the guidance of Yuldashev K. Y. defended 11 doctoral dissertations and 66 candidate's theses. He published 530 scientific works, including 22 books (monographs, textbooks, manuals).

The famous scientist and organizer of medical science Yuldashev K.Y. has repeatedly represented medical science at international forums (Sweden, Japan, FRG, France, Czechoslovakia, India, Syria, England, etc.).

Yuldashev K.Y. conducted a great public work, being for many years a member of the editorial boards of the journals "Therapeutic Archive", "Clinical Medicine", "Questions of Balneology, Physiotherapy and Therapeutic Physical Training", a member of the editorial board of the journals "Medical Journal of Uzbekistan", "Zdorovye", etc., and was also the chairman of the Scientific Society of Therapists of Uzbekistan.

Cardiology school of practical health care was created in the Republic by a cohesive creative and professionally active team of teachers. Significant contribution to the development of the department was made by such specialists as associate professors Irmukhamedov A.G., Shaikhov E.D., Sultankhodjaeva M.N., Kholmatov B.H., Maksumova M.G., Yarmukhamedova G.H., assistants Zhitnitskaya A.E., Khaidarov M.A., Babadjanov M.S. Since 2008, the course of functional diagnostics was reorganized into the Department of Functional Diagnostics of Tashkent Institute of Higher Education, which was headed until 2020 by Dr. Yarmukhamedova G.H., and now the department is headed by Dr. Mukhamedova M.G.

In 1999 Atakhanova L.E., Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, became the head of the department. In 2002, according to the Decree of the President Islamov I.A., Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the course of "Gerontology and Geriatrics" was organized in the Tashkent Institute of Advanced Training of Doctors of the Ministry of Health of the RU, and the department was renamed into the Department of Cardiology with a course of gerontology and geriatrics.

In the period from 2003 to 2011 at the department developed: the program of postgraduate education in the specialty "Gerontology and Geriatrics" and 14 programs of thematic improvement on the problems of "Gerontology and Geriatrics" for doctors of all specialties of therapeutic profile.

Since 2001 the clinical residency on specialty "Cardiology" was restored at the department. Along with pedagogical activities the department staff is engaged in therapeutic activities and scientific research on the problem "Clinical and pathogenetic aspects of differentiated approach to diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases in different age groups".

In 1999, the head of the department became Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Atakhanova L.E. In Tashkent Institute of Advanced Training of Doctors of the Ministry of Health in 2002, the department organized a course of "Gerontology and Geriatrics" and the department was renamed the Department of Cardiology with a course of gerontology and geriatrics.

Atakhanova Lilia Ergashevna Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor

From 1998 to 2012, she was the head of the department. On her initiative and active participation at the Department of Cardiology organized a course of "Gerontology and Geriatrics". In the period from 2003 to 2011, the department developed postgraduate education programs on the features of cardiovascular pathology in the elderly and senile. Atakhanova L.E. is a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Medical-Technical Sciences. She is the author of more than 200 scientific publications, including foreign ones; 4 monographs; more than 20 methodical recommendations. Atakhanova L.E. is the Chairman of the Association of Gerontologists of Uzbekistan branch under the Presidium of the AVU, Member of the Presidium of the Association of Physicians of Uzbekistan, Problem Commission on Internal Diseases of the Therapeutic Faculty of Tashkent Institute of Medicine, Member of editorial boards and councils of medical journals - Modern Rheumatology (Russia).

The study of the peculiarities of pathology in elderly and senile persons - aspects of "gerontology and geriatrics" is a priority direction of the department. Since 2018, a student of Atakhanova L.E., associate professor of the department, Dr. Talipova Y.Sh. is the main specialist gerontologist consultant of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Since 2001, clinical residency in specialty "Cardiology" was restored at the department. The scientific and practical direction of the department is devoted to the study of "Clinical and pathogenetic aspects of differentiated approach to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases in different age groups".

From 2012 to the present day the department is headed by Dr. M.Sc., Professor G.M. Tulaboeva, being a student of Academician Yuldashev K.Y., she worthily continues the traditions of her teacher, being an innovator of innovative directions in cardiology. On the initiative of Tulaboeva G.M. and her active participation in the educational process of the department introduced integrated courses of specialization in interventional cardiology (864 credits - 6 months), accordingly developed and approved training programs. Specialization courses are conducted jointly with the staff of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Cardiology, with the department is the moderator of this course.

Taking into account the urgency and wide demand for the introduction of interventional and minimally invasive methods of treatment of cardiovascular diseases in practical cardiology in all viloyats, including remote regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as to improve the quality of continuing medical education in accordance with the order of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan from October 20, 2021 № 02-042, on the instructions of the Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan from October 27, 2021 № 07/1-2585, the department was renamed into the Department of "Cardiology and Gerontology with the following methods

For the last 10 years 3 doctoral and 8 candidate dissertations have been prepared and defended, at the present time research work is being carried out by 5 applicants.

The staff of the department actively participate in international, national congresses and conferences, making reports and demonstrating their scientific achievements.

Since 2012 the department has been headed by Tulaboeva Gavkhar Mirokborovna Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor.

Tulabayeva Gavkhar Mirokborovna, born in 1964, Uzbek, non-partisan. She started her labor activity in 1987 as a senior laboratory assistant of the Department of Cardiology and Functional Diagnostics. From 1989 to 1990 she worked as a therapist in the hospital for participants of the Great Patriotic War, from 1990 to 1994 as a senior researcher in the cardiology department of the Research Institute of Medical Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy named after N.A.Semashko. N.A.Semashko. Since 1994 she worked as an associate professor of the department, and since 2012 she has been the head of the department.

Scientific work is devoted to the study of topical issues of cardiology, so in 1994 she successfully defended her PhD thesis in the specialty "Therapy - 14.00.05" on the topic "Clinical and pathogenetic characteristics of myocardial infarction". In 2004, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation in the specialty "Cardiology - 14.00.06" on the topic "Clinical and pathogenetic characteristics of the thrombocytic link of hemostasis in myocardial infarction".

Tulaboeva G.M.- is a member of: the Academic Council of CRPCMR, Problem Commission on Internal Diseases of the Therapeutic Faculty, Certification Commission on Cardiology, Scientific Seminar and Specialized Scientific Council on the specialty 14.00.06 - Cardiology at RSNPMCC, Scientific Seminar and Specialized Scientific Council on the specialty 14.00.43. - Preventive Medicine at AndMI, Member of the Specialized Council on Therapy 14.00.05. at TMA, Tulaboeva G.M. is Deputy Chairman of the Association of Cardiologists of Uzbekistan, member of the Russian Society of Cardiologists, member of the Society for the fight against heart failure, member of the Association of Therapists of Uzbekistan, member of the Euroasian Association of Cardiologists, member of the scientific society on lipidology and atherosclerosis, as well as a member of the editorial board and council of the medical journal - Bulletin of Therapist - Therapia Akhborotnomasi (Uzbekistan).

For active fight against coronavirus infection pandemic she was awarded with "Mehr Sakhovat" medal in 2020.

She has been working at the department since 1994. Head of educational and methodical work of the department. She is engaged in the study of the features of emergency conditions in cardiovascular diseases, methods of their treatment and prevention. She is an invited member of the Academic Council of CRPKMR, a member of the Academic Council of the Therapeutic Faculty, a member of the Problem Commission on Internal Diseases. Talipova Yulduz Shavkatovna Doctor of Medical Sciences (DSc), Associate Professor

Has been working at the department since 2003. Responsible for the scientific work of the department. Member of the Academic Council of the Therapeutic Faculty. Member of the Problem Commission on internal diseases. Member of the Single Specialized Council on Therapy 14.00.05. Member of the Scientific and Technical Committee of the Scientific Council for the awarding of scientific degrees at CRPKMR DSc.04/30.12.2019.Tib.31.01. Chief specialist consultant gerontologist MZRUz Engaged in the study of the features of cardiovascular diseases in women of different age groups, including pregnant women and women in menopause. Abdukadirova Nodira Miranvarovna Assistant,

She has been working at the department since 2019. A young and promising member of the department who started working at the department after graduating from the master's program. Applicant for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on the topic "Prevention of complications of myocardial infarction in elderly patients who underwent COVID-19 at the outpatient stage of observation". She is responsible for the work "Ma'rifat va ma'naviyat" at the department. In 2021 she was awarded with medal "Uzbekistan Republicsining 30 yilligi". Nodira Abdukadirovna is completing her doctoral dissertation and preparing for defense. Currently she is a mentor and supervisor of clinical ordinators.

Khusanov Abdurasul Abdukarimovich assistant of the Department of Cardiology and Gerontology has been working since 2002. He is engaged in diagnostics and treatment of heart rhythm disorders, including in elderly people. She is responsible for the material and technical base of the department. Actively participates in public work, in 2020 she was awarded the medal "Mehr Sahovat".

Adilova Ikbol Gafuritdinovna Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor

She started working at the department in 2015 as an assistant, and since 2020 she has been an associate professor. Research work is devoted to the study of interventional diagnostics and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, including in elderly patients. She is the author of more than 60 scientific papers published in foreign and national journals. She has made presentations at various conferences and congresses. I.G. Adilova is a member of the Association of Cardiologists of RUz, the Russian Society of Cardiologists, as well as the European Association of Cardiologists. She promotes healthy lifestyle, regularly appears on local TV channels in programs on Medicine and Health. In order to further improve knowledge and scientific potential Ikbol Gafuritdinovna in 2022 was accepted on a highly competitive basis in the target doctoral program. For invaluable contribution and highly qualified work in the field of optimization and promotion of medical tourism in 2023 was awarded with the appropriate award of the MHRIUz.

Yuldoshev Nabijon Pirimovich Doctor of Medical Sciences (DSc), Associate Professor. In 2003, he graduated from Tashkent Medical Academy, specializing in "cardiology" with a master's degree. In 2009-2012 on the basis of the Federal State Institution "Research Institute of Circulatory Pathology" named after Academician E.N. Meshalkin (Russia, city of Meshalkin). Meshalkin (Russia, Novosibirsk) repeatedly took courses of repeated qualification and improvement in the specialty "Radiological methods of diagnostics and treatment of diseases of cardiovascular system", and in 2011 for the first time started to work in a new direction "X-ray endosurgery" in the direction of Interventional Cardiology. Since 2021 he has been working at the Department of Cardiology and Gerontology as a part-time associate professor.

The main direction of N.P. Yuldoshev's scientific work is aimed at prevention of myocardial infarction, reduction of complications and mortality as a result of improvement and implementation of high-tech methods of diagnostics and treatment of ischemic heart disease.

Khamraev Ramesh Ravshanovich Khamraev - born on 29.11.1986, graduated from the Tashkent Medical Academy in 2010 with a degree in medicine. In 2012, he completed clinical residency in cardiology at the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Cardiology, in the same year he completed a cycle of advanced training in electrophysiology of the cardiovascular system at the Medical University of Tomsk, Russia, as well as in 2015 advanced training in electrophysiology at the Medical Institute in Astana, Kazakhstan. He is one of the organizers of the "Heart Team" in Uzbekistan. Since April 2017, thanks to the efforts of the "Heart Team", more than 2500 high-tech and specialized surgeries have been performed on patients with heart rhythm disorders and today a wide range of arrhythmological surgeries and radiofrequency ablation is performed, such arrhythmias as atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, focal atrial tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia, tachyarrhythmias, including in children.

Yakubov Akmal Abdusamatovich 08.04.1983 year of birth, in 2007 graduated from St. Petersburg State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov with a degree in medicine. I.I. Mechnikov St. Petersburg State Medical University, specializing in medicine. In 2010 he completed his residency in cardiovascular surgery at Novosibirsk Research Institute of Circulatory Pathology named after acad. E.N. Meshalkin. In 2010 in Novosibirsk Medical University he underwent specialization in the direction of X-ray endovascular diagnostics and treatment, in the same year in the Scientific Center of Cardiovascular Surgery named after A.N. Bakulev. In the same year, he underwent training in Clinical Eletrophysiology, Interventional and Surgical Arrhythmology at the A.N. Bakulev Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery. In 2016, he successfully defended his PhD thesis.

The staff of the Department of Cardiology and Gerontology actively participate in the organization of integrated interdisciplinary cycles, including international, so on the initiative of the head of the department held in 2017 a conference on "Features of management of patients with high cardiovascular risk" with the participation of cardiologists, therapists, endocrinologists, bariatric surgeons of the university clinic Appollo (India). The staff of the department Tulaboeva G.M., Azizova F.F., Adilova I.G. underwent training on the topic "Features of rehabilitation of patients after aortocoronary bypass" in the university clinic Appollo (India). Also together with the association of functional diagnostics "Indian Society of Electrocardiology" an integrated 36-hour cycle "Clinical ECG" was organized, in which Prof. Tulaboeva G.M. and Prof. Mr. Surendirpal Singh were the trainees. Surendirpal Singh were moderators. Webinars with foreign specialists (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, etc.) were also held.

Employees of the department participated in the International Screening of the European Society for Atherosclerosis Control. Employees of the department annually improve their qualification in the CIS countries (Russian Federation, Kazakhstan) and abroad (Turkey, Spain, Latvia, Romania, etc.).

Currently, the department has created all the conditions for an effective learning process, the Internet is available and works uninterruptedly, Moodle learning system is implemented, which allows you to create and store electronic learning materials and set the sequence of their study. The Moodle program allows doctors to optimally and comfortably without difficulties to create working rooms, without leaving the main workplace, which allows them to move through the educational material in a convenient format.

CLINICAL BASES OF THE DEPARTMENT: REPUBLICAN SPECIALIZED SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL MEDICAL CENTER OF CARDIOLOGY, clinics of EZGU NIAT and SABA-DARMON

The equipment of the clinical bases of the department allows clinical residents and trainees to master cardiology optimally. On the initiative of the head of the department organized integrated together with the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Cardiology specialization cycle "Interventional Cardiology" (864 hours). The department is equipped with a computer class, spacious classrooms and a lecture hall with multimedia equipment. Rooms for independent study of cadets with the equipment of office equipment, for practical classes with the latest equipment, library, etc., which allows to optimize the learning process for both cadets and teachers. In addition, the equipment of classrooms allows to communicate at a distance during conference calls with colleagues during on line conferences and consultations. To date, 65 interventionist specialists have been trained since 2018.

As part of the training of interventionist specialists, 5 specialists from Tajikistan were trained.

According to the requirements for the preparation of training programs at the department are created new programs of continuing postgraduate education, enriched with modern interactive technologies and the results of scientific research for practicing physicians cardiologists, gerontologists, geriatricians, general practitioners and related specialties. Every year a cardinal revision of training programs and plans of educational and methodical manuals is carried out according to the recommendations (standards) approved by WHO, Cardiology Societies of Europe, Russia and Uzbekistan, which is reflected in the educational and pedagogical work of the department. Each lecture and practical training is equipped with video materials as an important condition in the assimilation of new modern medical knowledge in the conditions of continuous postgraduate education.

For better assimilation of the passed material in the departments of the clinic of the Center are systematically conducted professor rounds with clinical analysis of patients.

Employees of the department are actively engaged in social work participating in "health check-ups" organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, aimed at the examination of severe patients with cardiovascular diseases in remote regions of the country, homes for the disabled and boarding schools for severe patients. Actively participate in the examination of patients under sanaviation, etc.
