On June 24, 2026, the next “Spirituality Day” event of the Faculty of Surgery was held in the conference hall of the Center for Professional Qualification Development of Medical Workers.

The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor S.S. Kariyev, who emphasized the importance of enhancing not only the professional knowledge and skills of medical workers but also their spiritual, cultural, and educational development.

As part of the event, Associate Professor R.K. Salikhodjayeva, Head of the Department for Monitoring and Quality Assessment of Continuing Professional Education, delivered a presentation dedicated to the study of the decrees and resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the relevant regulatory documents of the Ministry of Health aimed at improving physicians’ political awareness and legal culture.

In addition, J.J. Rasulov, Chief Consultant on Plastic and Microsurgery of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Associate Professor of the Department of Surgery–1, delivered a lecture entitled “Plastic and Reconstructive Microsurgery in the Republic of Uzbekistan,” providing detailed information on modern achievements, innovative technologies, and future prospects in this field.

During the event, Associate Professor N.N. Fayziyeva, Head of the Department of Valeology, delivered a lecture on “Preventive Medicine: Fundamentals of Valeology,” highlighting key issues related to promoting a healthy lifestyle, preventing diseases, and strengthening public health.

The spiritual and educational part of the event continued with a creative meeting featuring the distinguished singer Khurshid Rasulov, recipient of the “For Selfless Service” Order and Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan. His performances and songs created a warm and uplifting atmosphere, providing inspiration and spiritual enrichment for the participants.
