Department “Neonatology”
The department was organized in 1978 and was one of the first two departments of neonatology in the structure of institutes of advanced medical training of the former USSR.
In 1978 – 1986, the department was headed by the candidate of Medical Sciences, associate professor A.K. Kasymov. From 1986 to 1999, the department was headed by Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor E.V.Pikulina. From 1999 to 2017, the department was headed by Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Mukhamedova H.T. From 2017 to the present, the head of the department is Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Nasirova U.F.

Associate Professor. Head of the Department of Neonatology

In 2002 she graduated from the pediatric faculty of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute. In 2002, she began his scientific and pedagogical career as a graduate student in the Department of neonatology at the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute.
Since 2005, assistant at the Department of Neonatology of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute. In 2005, she favored a candidate thesis on" psychomatic health of preschool children with newborn temporal hypothyroidism". In 2005-2015 she worked as an associate professor at the Department of Neonatology of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute and during 2010-2011 she conducted research within the framework of the AES-2 state grant, in 2015 she defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "the state of the cardiovascular system with the assessment of cellular energy exchange with newborns". (14.00.09) .C in 2016 she was promoted to associate professor at the Department of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute. On the basis of the City Children's Hospital No. 1 in the Department of Pathology of Newborns and Reanimation, in the clinics of the Republican Perinatal Centre, the Medical Centre of Mother and Child of RIIA he takes part in the treatment of patients and gives recommendations on the problems of air ambulance. Total seniority is 15 years, scientific and pedagogical activity is 14 years. Since 2017, she is the head of the Department of Neonatology of CDPQMW.
Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan since 2020, he fulfils the function of "Chief Neonatologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan".

Constantly works on professional development in the speciality. Regularly participates in thematic seminars, scientific-practical conferences and international congresses. Makes extensive use of relevant scientific literature, monographs, journals and Cochrain's main central library. Newly acquired information will be applied to the teaching process. Throughout his scientific and pedagogical career, he has constantly improved his qualifications, including regular participation in medical imaging in Uzbekistan, near and far abroad countries, scientific and practical conferences and international seminars dedicated to the development of postgraduate education and modern educational technologies. She is an excellent worker of health care of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Author of more than 90 scientific works, 8 methodical recommendations, 2 books and 2 textbooks on neonatology (for cadets and students of medical universities). Under her supervision 1 PhD thesis was defended.
Latipova Guli Gayratovna
(Candidate of medical sciences, docent)

Latipova Guli Gayratovna graduated from Tashkent Paediatric Medical Institute in 2002. Candidate of Medical Sciences since 2011. On 19 November 2010 defended a PhD thesis on "The significance of activation of apoptosis factors in pneumonia in children with perinatal lesion of the central nervous system" on speciality 14.00.09 - Pediatrics.
The total labour experience is 25 years, scientific experience - 9 years, pedagogical experience - 9 years; including pedagogical experience in CDPQMW is 7 years.
G.G. Latipova has been working as a responsible employee in the neonatology department of CDPQMW since 2018. Member of the Board of the Faculty of Paediatrics.
Latipova Guli Gayratovna, from the field of neonatology according to the curriculum for the academic years 2017-2023, lectures on 144-hour UMO of neonatology (1 month), 144-hour MMO (1 month), as well as 504-hour (3.5 months), lectures to cadets studying for a change of speciality, lectures at seminars and demonstrates modern methods of treatment as a mentor in practical skills, takes an active part. For many years she has been actively involved in the creation of new training programmes in the field of neonatology.
Latipova G.G. 18. scientific articles and abstracts, 1 monograph, 3 methodical manuals and recommendations, 12 scientific publications in scientific journals, of which 2 scientific publications in prestigious foreign journals and 10 scientific publications in scientific journals of international status in our Republic, 6 dissertations, 1 of which is in foreign countries, 5 are authors of abstracts in collections of scientific and practical conferences of the Republic. At present G.G.Latipova works as a researcher of grant research work of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the innovative project on the theme "Development of a new method of forecasting for the prevention of diseases of children born in early term" in 2023-2025.
