Gaibullaev Asilbek Asadovich (b. 1952) Scientist. Urologist. Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor. Head of the Department of Urology and Nephrology of the Tashkent Institute for Advanced Medical Studies (TashIUV). Born April 20, 1952 in Tashkent. In 1975 he graduated from the medical faculty of the Tashkent State Medical Institute. 1975-1976 was engaged in pedagogical activity at the Department of Normal Anatomy of Tashkent State Medical Institute. From 1976 to 1979 he worked as an intern at the urological department of the city clinical hospital No. 1 in Tashkent. From 1979 to the present time he has been working at the Department of Urology and Nephrology of Tashkent Institute of Higher Education. He is a student of the leading urologists acad. ON. Lopatkina, prof. A.M. Mukhtarova, prof. A.F. Darenkov. In 1985 he defended his thesis "Diagnostics and surgical treatment of cryptorchidism" for the degree of candidate of medical sciences. 1989 to 1992 completed doctoral studies at the Research Institute of Urology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and in 1992 under the guidance of Acad. ON. Lopatkina defended his doctoral dissertation "Estrogenization of the male body by natural hormones." 1989 to 2001 was the chairman of the Scientific Society of Urologists of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Since 2003, a member of the European Association of Urology.
Since 1990 he has been the chief urologist of the State Healthcare Institution of Tashkent. From 2005 to 2010, the chief urologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Professor Gaybullaev A.A. active organizer and participant of urological congresses of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Professor Gaybullaev A.A. took part in the work of the Annual Congresses of the European Association of Urologists. He is the author of 149 scientific articles, 4 monographs, 12 methodological recommendations, under his leadership, 9 candidate dissertations were defended, 2 doctoral dissertations were prepared for defense. Professor Gaybullaev A.A. is a leading developer of nosological standards for examination and treatment of patients with urological diseases, approved by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In 2009. A.A. Gaibullaev was awarded the title of “Honorary Professor of the Scientific Center of Urology of Kazakhstan named after acad. BOO. Dzharbusynov ".
Under the leadership of A.A. Gaibullaev the department introduced modern teaching methods, organized monothematic cycles, unified with the master's program. In the educational process, materials of the European (EAU) and American Association of Urology (AAU) are widely used. In 2004, one of the first in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the department organized distance learning.
Along with the main pedagogical activity, he conducts scientific research of urinary tract infection, incontinence and urolithiasis, which is a regional pathology in Uzbekistan.
